28 Mar Wood Library Introduces Read with Pride Book Kits

Book discussion kits featuring stories that highlight the LGBTQ+ experience are now available at Wood Library thanks to a grant from the Rochester Area Community Foundation’s LGBTQ+ Giving Circle.

The Read with Pride YA book discussion kits include 10 copies of the same book, a book discussion guide, suggested group participation activities (online quiz, a craft, or game for an in-person group to do), and an information sheet about the book and author.  Book titles were selected by Wood Library’s Teen Services Librarian with input from the Wood Library Teen Advisory Board and other interested teens.
