UPDATE: Wood Library Closed to the Public until further notice

UPDATE 15Mar2020, 1:30PM–For the health and safety of our community and given Ontario County’s declaration of a state of emergency, Wood Library will close to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, and will remain closed until further notice.  Wood Library is taking this unprecedented and necessary step to promote the health of our patrons and staff, and the community.

Monday, March 16, 2020, will be the last day that community members will be able to access the building.  Staff will continue to report from 9:00AM-5:00PM during this emergency closure to perform essential duties and will be available by phone to answer questions from the public.

Delivery of materials from other libraries has been suspended until further notice.  Holds on materials will not be able to be placed at this time. We are deeply sorry for this inconvenience.

All library programs, classes, events, and outside group meetings have been canceled, including the AARP tax aide service.   If you have a tax aide appointment, you will be contacted by a library staff member in the next couple of days.

Library patrons will not incur fines for any overdue materials during this emergency closure.

We will not be accepting book sale and purse donations at this time.

A reminder that the Libby app allows patrons to access ebooks and downloadable audio resources for free right to your digital device.  This is a great option for people who are limiting contact with the public.  Learn about Libby here.
