26 Feb Wood Library Offers Computer Classes for Seniors
Canandaigua, NY (February 25, 2020)—With funding from the Ontario County Office for the Aging, Wood Library will offer new classes in 2020 to help seniors build digital skills and awareness about computers and online tools. The free classes are designed for adults age 60+ who reside in Ontario County.
Pre-registration is required by calling 585-394-1381. All classes are held at Wood Library, 134 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
The first class in the series—Intro to Windows—will take place Tuesday, March 10 and Tuesday, March 17, from 10:00AM-12:00PM. This class is for beginners who have little to no knowledge of computers. The course will cover very basic computer skills and knowledge such as hardware, software and software types, folders, files, do’s and don’ts, cut, copy, paste, and more. Participants must attend both classes.
