The Friends of Wood Library is made up of faithful volunteers who are passionate about their library. Member contributions fund special library needs such as summer reading prizes, the movie license, landscaping services, the preschool art program, and furnishings. The Friends are major sponsors for library events such as the 5K, Fun Run and Story Walk, Pursapalooza, Library Advocacy Day, Love Your Library Day, and Trivia Nights. The Friends also support and advocate for increases in community-based funding.
The membership year runs from January 1 thru December 31. Payments made in the last quarter of a year are processed as paid memberships for the following year.
The Friends of Wood Library was established in 1963 as a foundation to promote an informed interest in the Wood Library Association, its services, facilities, and needs. Over the years, Friends have made many contributions to help the library thrive and meet community needs. Please join us as we support Wood Library.
