About Us

The Friends of Wood Library is made up of faithful volunteers who are passionate about their library. Member contributions fund special library needs such as summer reading prizes, movie licenses, the preschool art program, library furnishings, and more.

The Friends are major sponsors for popular library events such as the 5K & Fun Run, Pursapalooza, Library Advocacy Day, Love Your Library Day, trivia nights, and others. The Friends also advocate for community-based funding.
