October 30, 2019 (Canandaigua, NY)— Now in its fourth year, Wood Library’s sale of new and gently used purses and jewelry is a must-attend holiday event. The popular purse and jewelry sale will be held at Wood Library,134 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY.
Pursapalooza kicks off on Saturday, November 23, 2019 with a Champagne Presale at 4:00PM. Tickets are available for $30 in advance, or $35 at the door. Enjoy champagne by Vineyards Wine & Spirits, Heron Hill wine, savory and sweet treats from local restaurants and first dibs on wonderful merchandise.
General admission starts at 5:30PM. Tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the door. Guests can shop until 7PM while enjoying refreshments.
The sale also features a raffle of designer purses paired with gift certificates. “We are offering a wonderful array of designer bags and all-occasion purses, along with great deals on jewelry, all donated by people from the community,” reports Kathy Shay, a Library Trustee who stepped up to chair the popular fundraiser this year.

Proceeds from this sale benefit Wood Library’s life-enriching programs for adults, including lectures, classes, film screenings, craft nights, and author visits.
