Virtual Adventure Challenge Starts July 26

July 2020 (Canandaigua, NY)—Imagine an adventure anywhere in the world!  That’s the challenge Wood Library is raising to anyone who is looking for something fun to do for a good cause.  The Canandaigua-based library’s first-ever virtual challenge event will take place from July 26 to August 8, 2020.

“Participants can choose from five challenges ranging from 1 mile to 50 miles,” states Library Director Jenny Goodemote.  “The event is designed for all ages and abilities.  You can run, walk, stroll, swim, bike, hike, or paddle.  The beauty of this event is how convenient it is.  People can complete their challenges anywhere and over a two-week period.”

Registration for Wood Library’s Imagine Your Adventure is at or through the library’s website at  Registration fees are:  $30 age 11 and up, $15 up to age 10.  All participants will receive a custom T-shirt.  Proceeds will support Wood Library’s digital services and virtual programs through 2020.
