July 13 fundraiser planned for Canandaigua’s community library
Canandaigua, NY (June 13, 2019)—Sign up for a fun 5K event that’s for everyone—walkers and runners, strollers, and families. Wood Library’s 5K, Fun Run and Story Walk will take place at Canandaigua’s Wood Library on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Proceeds support hundreds of activities at Wood Library that get children and teens reading, creating, and discovering all summer long. It’s gonna’ be out of this world!
Race day fun includes: music, galaxy slime, moon sand, astronaut games, a story walk, bubbles, refreshments, a raffle, and medals for age group winners. Register online or download and print a form at woodlibrary.org/event.
The 5K race starts at 8:30 AM and the Kids Fun Run starts at 9:30AM. The Story Walk runs from 9:30AM-2:00PM. Activities will start and finish at Wood Library, 134 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY.
- 5K entry fees: $25 to June 15, $30 June 16-July 13
- Fun Run: $10 (ages 12 and under)
- Family Story Walk: FREE (no registration required)
